Olive Wood Fork & Spoon Set

Behind this simple olive wood spoon and fork set is a story that began generations ago in Bethlehem.

Ashraf Jaraysa was only ten years old when he first started working with olive wood, helping his father and grandfather carve pieces by hand in their Beit Sahour workshop. Today the craft continues in the family: Ashraf works alongside his brother Elias and his two sons Majd and Fadi — four generations of olive wood carving.

Olive wood holds a special meaning in Bethlehem, closely connected to the history of the land and to olive trees that have grown there for centuries. Each piece carries its own natural grain and colors, making every carved item unique.

When you use this set in your kitchen, you are holding something handmade by a family that has kept this tradition alive for four generations.
